ang slo0ow ng net connection namin.

Today I woke up feeling better. I slept for 11 hours, the longest sleep I've had in weeks. =)

Last Monday was the So! Write Seminar. It was held at the AVR, and the guest speakers were Ms. Maita de Jesus, Ms. Tara FT Sering, and Ms. Claire Betita-Samson. These astig femmes are all from Summit Media. They mainly talked about writing for a magazine, plus the perks and all others. Ate Elaine Natividad, one of our former guild heads, was also there. She also works for Summit now. ..click here for photos. ;)

Yesterday we went to PETA in Kyusi to watch the stage play, "Walang Himala". I thought Jean and I are going to have a bit of trouble finding PETA, but we didn't. After the play we, Adie, Jean, Jensen, Weng, Dhanli, a few friends/blockmates, and, I went to the nearby KFC to have lunch. After lunch, we rode a jeepney going to Recto because we have planned to go to Divisoria to buy the materials for our prototype. Chinky and Alison were with us then. I assume that everyone in the jeepney stared at us, because we were laughing all the way until Chinky, Alison, and Dhanli left us in the jeepney. When we reached Recto, we had another jeepney ride to Divisoria.

It was my first time in Divi. People from all walks of life are there. Funnily enough, I didn't find myself complaining a lot about the weather, the smoke, and all that walking. The only downside of our trip is that there are a lot of people, the males there, who said annoying crap like "O sige, bumalik na naman kayo sa pinanggalingan nyo. Naliligaw na kayo. Naliligaw, naliligaaaw" when we returned to one Pasilio in the Textile market, and "...meryenda natin babae". Dabnammit. But ohwell. What did I expect anyway? That. Anyhoo, we bought most of our materials there; it's great that we had the cheaper stuff. Sana lang next time we go there, an adult or someone who knows the area better than us are going to be with us. So we can save time and energy and money. And somehow, avoid the catcalls. Haha. =p

I'd really like to watch the UAAP Cheering Competition on the 10th at Araneta... Go USTe! =p

Owkiedokie. That's all I have to blog for now. =)

ciaociao.
