We had our first PE class yesterday afternoon, and I enjoyed it. I met a few people mostly from AB, because we were grouped according to what college we came from. I also met a couple of girls from Bio and Nursing. After PE class Jen, Jean, Weng, and I spent a few minutes to sit down and rest at the benches near the field.<-- segway: Wow, biglang buhos ng ulan ah. --> Haha.
Our prof in NatSci held recitations today. Simple recitations. As in you only have to read the stuff on the acetates being flashed. Everyone was raising their hands to recite. I was having little conversations with Fresh, but was also listening at the same time. Buti na lang pala! She suddenly called me, but I did not stand up right away because I thought she said "Jean" or "Jileyn". Sabi ko pa, "Ma'am, ako po?". And when she nodded and said yes, I stood up to read the next passage about the constellations Orion and Leo. I think she called on me because she thought I wasn't paying attention... =p Finance.. I'm beginning to comprehend how to solve rightly the problems now. Marketing.. We had a quiz where "the luckiest person in class" had to pick a question from the three papers presented to him. Talk about lucky. He picked the same question, which is the hardest according to our prof, twice in a row. But the ever so nice Sir Nicky still gave us the easiest question for our quiz, saying that he'll just give the question to another section. Haha. =) Then, we were also dismissed an hour early because our Expo Writing prof will not be able to attend the class. So Fresh, Jen, and I went to the lib to check out our CWTS modules. But it wasn't available yet! Sheesh. And I thought we have to do the Pre-test today. So I just went home after that.
I think the LRT2 has technical probs to deal with. Immediately. A week ago, my blockmates Jean and Denise got late for our first period dahil may pumutok na part ng train [malamang yung engine yun]. Then today on my way home aboard the LRT, it abruptly stopped. Muntik ko nang madaganan yung aleng katabi ko, nasa dulo pa naman sya ng upuan. Tsk tsk. We had just left Betty Go station, the end part of the train was even in that station pa. And I thought I heard the driver say that we should fall in line near the doors to exit. Then a few seconds later, he announced the standard "...humawak po tayo sa safety handrails... iwasang sumandal o hawakan ang mga pinto..." eklat. Nakaka-nerbyos din yun ano. Idagdag mo pa yung may katabi akong 2 babaeng panay ang sabi ng "Ano yun?? Nakakatakot naman. Kinakabahan ako." Grr. Mag-isa pa naman ako kanina.
